Resumo
Walter Blumenfeld (1882-1967) and Bettina Katzenstein (1906-1981), two German psychologists of Jewish origin, forced to leave Germany in the years of the National Socialist regime, settled in Peru and Brazil, respectively. Having met in Germany, they once again began their relationship in the New World, this time by letter. The present communication presents the correspondence between both between 1936 and 1965, in which it is possible to know the vicissitudes and problems that both experienced in their capacity as emigrants, as well as their appraisals about psychology and some important psychologists of the countries that they welcomed them.
